Het Ballonnetje
The Balloon Coffeeshop was founded in 1978, and was one of the first (legal) coffeeshops in Amsterdam. Since then, the shop has blossomed into a popular, succesful and high quality coffeeshop.
The Balloon is known to have an authentic atmosphere, and to be a real 'locals' shop. Different types of people and cultures like to come here, to relax and mingle.
Our shop is located on the east side of the city centre, close to the Amsterdam universities and the famous zoo, Artis. The area has a lot of history, and is also known for the beautiful architecture.
